Training Overview

“Without movement life is unthinkable.”

Advanced training with Sheryl Field 2012/2013

Feldenkrais Focus

Fall/Spring Training Intensives and Seminar Series

THE DYNAMICS AND PROGRESSION OF DEVELOPMENT

AND THE EMERGENCE OF LOCOMOTION IN THE GROWING CHILD

The Feldenkrais Focus 2012-2013 Program is an 18-day (12-day option available) course designed to organize your study of fundamental movement properties of early development – tracing their presence and integration in the progression toward locomotion.

Through rigorous ATM practice, we will work to gain a powerful perspective into the highly conserved building blocks of human movement and action by learning to recognize them in our own structure and functional patterns.

In group FI practice, we refine our skills of observation, analysis and interaction with others. We will examine the forces of our self-organization and use this knowledge to provide our clients of any age with a more potent learning experience.

This advanced training offers a potent perspective that will serve to significantly quicken the pace of your engagement with and mastery of the Feldenkrais Method…inspiring a new level for creating positive influence and powerful strategies for improving the way you or a person you are working with feels, moves and acts.

Open to Practitioners and students of Feldenkrais training.
